" It is not good that the man should be alone" (Gen 2:18) . The man was made to live with others. But living with others is not always easy. Others are so different from us . They only think about themselves and their interests - which often frustrates us. Where : strife, quarrels, conflicts. Since men were upon the earth, there is everywhere struggles and wars.
God wanted to create a different society where there is harmony and peace : the Church. At first, " all who believed were in perfect unity of heart and mind " (Acts 4:32) .
To achieve this unity in the Church , we find in the New Testament , thirty different verbs associated with the phrase " each other ". They are a powerful antidote to the seeds of division and we trace the relations as God wants for his children: " Do you love each other , you host , you encourage, edify you , honor you . .. "But also " do you support , make sure each other, forgive each other you ... " .
These verbs are both a call and a promise.
